 Candidaturas às Bolsas SPOT – Prazo 30 de Setembro

Em relação a perguntas recentemente colocadas, vamos tentar expor os fellowships disponíveis, chamando a atenção para os prazos. Qualquer informação adicional é favor contactar a SPOT.
Os fellowships são, por definição, internacionais. São organizados pela EFORT e há dois modelos:
Visiting Fellowship
Neste momento não é suportado pela EFORT mas sim pela Fundação EFORT (criada pela EFORT para este fim, mas ajuda à confusão pois não os encontramos na página da EFORT mas numa area diferente). Ver http://www.efort.org/about/foundation.fellowship.upload.aspx
As candidaturas são permitidas até 15 de Julho, e no final deste mail está uma lista dos seus requisitos.
Travelling Fellowship
Há dois disponíveis, o Spring e o Autumn, mas nós (Portugal) só nos podemos candidatar ao da Primavera. Um interno de cada país passará uma semana (total) em 3 centros diferentes, com o alojamento suportado pelo país anfitrião e a viagem pelo país que envia o interno.
As candidaturas iniciam em Janeiro de cada ano.
Bolsas SPOT
Bolsas para internos do 5º e 6º ano, para suportar estágios até 3 meses com apoio máximo de 500 euros mensais).
Candidaturas até 30 de Setembro deste ano.
Estão ainda em desenvolvimento, para recém-especialistas, estágios extraordinários de Coluna, Trauma, Mão, Ombro e Cotovelo, Pé.
As candidaturas serão até 30 de Setembro deste ano, para iniciar já em 2011.

EFORT FOUNDATION Visiting Fellowship
Visiting Fellowship: EFORT FOUNDATION in cooperation with Zimmer GmbH
With a grant of total 120.000 Euro from Zimmer GmbH the EFORT FOUNDATION will support up to 40 visiting fellowships during 2010.
The funding areas include: Adult reconstructive total hip and knee arthroplasty, shoulder and elbow problems as well as trauma. The EFORT FOUNDATION visiting fellowships supported by Zimmer allow young and active orthopaedic European colleagues from different countries to spend, after finishing the orthopaedic training, a period of 4-6 weeks in a clinic, department or institution in another European country.
These fellowships should allow the fellows to learn about new techniques in practical orthopaedics as well as in orthopaedic/trauma science and pathophysiology. Each grant consists of 3000 Euro and is meant to cover travel and living expenses by the applicant during the visit.

If you are interested to apply for an EFORT FOUNDATION Visiting Fellowship Grant for a visit of 4-6 weeks between October and December 2010, you are kindly invited to fill in this application form. Upon receipt a dedicated committee will examine your application. You will be informed in written about the decision of the committee.

- Copy of your MD licence
- Copy of your licence as a European orthopaedist
- 2 letters of recommendation
